Each zoo sanctuary animal uses washable, non-toxic paint to create their unique works of art. The act of painting provides the animals with behavioral enrichment, allowing them to use their senses to explore the painting materials, and encourages the use of their paws, claws, hooves, noses, tails – and sometimes their whole bodies – as they immerse themselves in the activity.
